How it works!
- Send me your logo! This is to replace the sheep in the top left hand corner. The image must be in PNG format. I’ll edit the image colours to fit in with the rest of the washed-out retro newspaper style.
- Send me your content for the about us section. 150-500 words is great.
- Send me your blog posts! The site will look a bit empty if you haven’t written these yet, but we can use dummy content in the meantime if that’s the case.
- Your email for the content form.
- Anything you’d like to be put in the footer and sidebars. Links/Advertisements ETC
- And finally –
Your domain name, and website hosting information. If you don’t have this, or need help with it, give me a shout and I’ll be happy to guide you through it!
After I have all that:
I create your website, in the style from the example. My websites are created using WordPress, which gives you FULL control after the website is transferred onto your hosting
The package includes:
- “Responsive Design” – the site will adapt to mobiles and tablets automatically
- “Speedy” Design – the site will be quick, quick, quick!
- SEO (Search engine optimised) – The site will be built with Google in mind. It will have a low loading speed, modern design and each page will be optimised for a keyphase. Once finished, a sitemap will be created and issued to all the major search engines.
- Google Analytics – a dashboard so you can monitor your traffic – and where the traffic comes from.
- Email and Contact Form setup. An email based on your domain, and a contact form linking to that email.
- Auto updates
- A backup file
- Anti Spam Protection
- Antivirus and Malware Firewall – Viruses are a common problem with websites nowadays, I will implement a firewall to protect your site from hackers.
- Content Management System – My sites are built with WordPress, which allows my clients to easily edit text on their website, and with a little training, add images and extra content.
- A guide on how to make simple edits to your website, replace the images in the gallery, and edit the text.
